Heather has been with the clinic since August of 2006. She started as a kennel assistant and later became cross trained as a receptionist and vet tech. She loves doing lab work and is responsible for Gentle Care’s participation in the Morris Animal Foundation’s Canine Lifetime Health Study. Gentle Care Animal Hospital has the most participants in their region for this study thanks to Heather! In her spare time away from work, Heather enjoys volunteering with her dog for Midsouth Therapy Dogs and Friends. Bourbon and Heather have been a therapy team for over 2 years and together they have done visits at LeBonheur Outpatient Rehab, Lakeside, Ronald McDonald House and Baptist PEDS. She also enjoys training her other two dogs, Percy and Julep, in obedience.
Angie grew up in Southaven, Mississippi and graduated from Temple Baptist. Animals have always been her passion. She was always bringing home and rescuing strays in her neighborhood. She grew up in a close knit family and has one sister. Angie doesn’t have any children, only fur babies. She has three dogs; a rat terrier named Cha-Chee, two Chihuahuas named Binky and Ziggy, and a cat named Jazmine. Angie started working at Gentle Care in July of 2013. Before she worked at Gentle Care, she worked in the medical manufacturing field as a buyer. She loves to make people laugh and enjoys working around and interacting with clients and considers herself a people person. When Angie isn’t working she enjoys spending time with her parents and feels blessed to have them here! She also enjoys spending time with her pets, going to the gym, and socializing with friends. Angie loves all aspects of working with animals. Her favorite part is watching the animals reunite with their owners.
Kimberly is a receptionist at Gentle Care and started working here in October of 2015. She has three children and one grandson, who is her world. She has lived in Memphis her entire life. She absolutely loves her job and enjoys working with this great group of people at Gentle Care.
Dana has been a receptionist at Gentle Care since October 2015. She enjoys working with our clients and loves to make people laugh. She loves animals and enjoys being able to work with the animals that come into the clinic. She has one dog named Bruskie, who is her baby. In her free time Dana enjoys drawing and painting.
Gentle Care was where Alexis started her professional career as her first job when she started working as a kennel assistant in 2011. She loves the family atmosphere here and decided to return in July of 2015 and is currently working as a receptionist. She loves that every day at the clinic is a different adventure and the days here are rarely boring. She loves being able to work with animals as well as animal lovers!
