Angie grew up in Southaven, Mississippi and graduated from Temple Baptist. Animals have always been her passion. She was always bringing home and rescuing strays in her neighborhood. She grew up in a close knit family and has one sister. Angie doesn’t have any children, only fur babies. She has three dogs; a rat terrier named Cha-Chee, two Chihuahuas named Binky and Ziggy, and a cat named Jazmine. Angie started working at Gentle Care in July of 2013. Before she worked at Gentle Care, she worked in the medical manufacturing field as a buyer. She loves to make people laugh and enjoys working around and interacting with clients and considers herself a people person. When Angie isn’t working she enjoys spending time with her parents and feels blessed to have them here! She also enjoys spending time with her pets, going to the gym, and socializing with friends. Angie loves all aspects of working with animals. Her favorite part is watching the animals reunite with their owners.

Gentle Care was where Alexis started her professional career as her first job when she started working as a kennel assistant in 2011. She loves the family atmosphere here and decided to return in July of 2015 and is currently working as a receptionist. She loves that every day at the clinic is a different adventure and the days here are rarely boring. She loves being able to work with animals as well as animal lovers!

Sara was born in North Carolina, but moved to Tennessee in 2015. She is wholeheartedly devoted to her chorkie, Link. She was originally looking to volunteer, but the clinic welcomed her to the team. At Gentle Care she is able to fulfill her lifelong adoration for animals.

Maxine is a native Memphian and has always been an animal lover. She has been a client of ours for over 17 years and seized an opportunity to join our staff just recently. She is pleased she can now care for our patients as well as our clients as a receptionist, and looks forward to working with each and every one of them. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her Min Pin, Charlie.
